- Chief Minister Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy had a lenghty meeting on Infrastructure development and has asked the officials to speed up the airport project proposed at Nellore on Aug 20.
- Earlier the project was considered to be unviable.
- The decision seems to be based on the huge number of SEZs, Krishnapatnam port etc requiring air facilities.
